Human development (HMDA) is a lab based honours subject available in Day shift under the BACHELOR OF ARTS Course in our college.
The department was established in 2003 as a General Course subject. More recently, in 2018, the Honours Course has started.
Human Development is the study of how human beings grow, develop, behave and sustain physically, intellectually, emotionally and socially across life stages as an individual in the personal, familial and social life. Human Development offers an interdisciplinary approach in achieving holistic development by promoting resilience and preventing risks throughout the lifespan. The curriculum prepares graduates for professional ,careers ,self employment and entrepreneurship related to working with mothers, infants, ,children, adolescence, adults , elderly and family in social and human service settings.

5.Community outreach and educational visit of different NGOs, ECCE centre, Organisation etc.
6.Departmental Quiz , Debate , Extempore competition.
7.Internship.
8.Certificate Course.
9.Remedial Classes.
10.Departmental Seminar, Workshop etc.
Regular field visits are conducted and social works are done in collaboration with different NGOs and institutions.
