The Department of Education of Dum Dum Motijheel College has started its journey as a General Course Department or Pass Department in 10-09-2001. From the very beginning, the Department of Education has produced a bunch of promising fresh bloods who are already well established in their own area in life and as it is a continuous process it is still doing the same . Education, as a subject has been a popular choice amongst the students of Humanities stream Education is basically an inter-disciplinary subject which absorbs matter from subjects like Philosophy , Psychology , Sociology , History , Statistics , Technology , Management and General affairs. This subject gives a detailed idea about the education system prevailing in this country and other countries from all over the world. Since it is inter-disciplinary, it has its doors open towards Management, Teaching , Research , Journalism etc in the vast arena of the world of knowledge . The department motivates its fresh bloods to be able to crack the Govt. job exams and other competitive exams in future to establish himself in life and moreover to avail the confidence to get into in a profession and establish in it .
