The department of physics is more than fifty years old now and proud to have a long list of distinguished alumni. It possesses very well equipped laboratory with sufficient space. Both General and Honors degree courses are offered by the department. At present, there are six experienced and dedicated teachers in the department. The teachers are friendly and approachable to the students.The aim of the department is to teach the students sincerely with utmost care. Audio visual classes are arranged for the benefit of the students. The department of physics also arranges national level seminars/workshops occasionally to provide the students an exposure of the recent advancement of modern science and technology and to encourage them to think beyond the textbook.
