Dr. Pranab Giri has more than 24 years of Teaching and research experience in different fields of Botany. He was involved as an investigator in two research projects funded by WBDST and UGC. He holds a Ph.D. in tissue culture and Biotechnology (Kalyani University, 2006) and a MSc. ( Microbiology specialization, 1st class, second , C.U.1997) degree.Dr. Giri is currently working as an Associate Professor, Dept. of Botany, Dum Dum Motijheel College, Kolkata and is coordinator of Dum Dum Motijheel College Learners' support centre of Netaji Subhas Open University.
